GWCA Supports Boobook Declaration

Biodiversity is life. Biodiversity is our life.
2010 is the International year of Biodiversity and the Greater Wollombi Communities Alliance joins with organisations such as the Nature Conservation Council, the Wilderness Society and WWF in supporting the Boobook Declaration calling upon the Australian Government to act decisively to fulfil its international and national promises to protect biodiversity.
You can help by --
- Celebrating the wonder and beauty of biodiversity in your community
- Asking groups you are part of to sign onto the Boobook Declaration and commit to working for its implementation in 2010.
- Asking your federal parliamentary representatives in the House of Representatives and the Senate to endorse the Boobook Declaration and commit to supporting its implementation in 2010.
